When a loved one dies, it can be a very emotional and distressing time for their family and friends. They are faced with addressing many necessary activities and procedures before, during, and after the Funeral service.

In an effort to be of greater assistance, we have provided the following checklist of important things you may wish to consider in preparing for the tasks that are required to be completed in preparation for the Funeral.


When A Death Occurs

The very first thing you will want to do is contact us on on (02) 9623 6656 for our 24 hour personalised care.  We will immediately make arrangements  to care for the deceased and help you to make all the necessary arrangements. At your convenience, we will want to discuss the following particulars of the deceased. Locating and having this information ready will  assist greatly in simplifying our initial meeting:
 

• Important information about your loved one such as full name, address, social security number, birth date, marital status, etc.
   
• Personal history of your loved one such as education, employment, military service, memberships and affiliations, general biographical information, etc.
   
• Clergy to be contacted.
   
• Immediate family and friends to be contacted.
   
• Notices in newspaper.
   
• Type of funeral service desired - earth burial, entombment, cremation, etc.
   
• Type of casket, vault, urn.
   
• Musical selections.
   
• Scriptural selections, poetry, readings.
   
• Floral requests.
   
• Clothing and jewelry requests.
   
• Casket bearers.
